On 24th July 2019, PT Nombor Biru (Bluenumber Indonesia) hosted the SDG4EO (Sustainable Development Goals for Edible Oils) 2nd Progress Review Meeting at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta.

Participants were invited to comment and discuss on the findings and progress of the SDG4EO project relating to the direct payment of premiums to farmers for sustainable practices, evidencing No Deforestation, Peat or Exploitation (NDPE) and traceability of palm oil supply chains down to the smallest actor.

The meeting also presented the development and progress of a B#-Global SDG Scorecard for smallholders; applied to Palm Oil farmers in Indonesia, Mung Bean farmers in Bangladesh and Cocoa farmers in Cote d’Ivoire. The SDG Scorecard is a beneficiary-centric metric system based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It utilises datapoints to measure the real-life impacts of initiatives or systems and to identify gaps in access to rights and needs.
